Gone in 60 seconds! No, it’s not just a movie. Bernie Ecclestone, the famous Formula 1 boss, has managed an unbelievable performance. He divorced in only 58 seconds of the beautiful and much taller Slavica Radic.
Usually, if you have 78 years and a fortune of over 2.4 billion pounds is expected from you to be careful with your money. Here, however, in less than a minute, Bernie was “relieved” half of this amount. And what is more surprising, even Bernie has not figured out how he lost the 1.2 billion pounds!
And that’s because, at the appointed time, none of them was present in the courtroom in London. And so, 24 years of marriage were flushed away in just 58 seconds. A few hours after, Bernie found that he became celibate, and said, stunned: “I had no idea! My lawyers told me that they received this information last night, late, but didn’t know the divorce was over. I have no idea that I was supposed to be present. For the family it’s a sad day, yeah … Some things are unavoidable, we must accept it. But it was an amicable parting. ”
What does “amicable” mean? In her divorce papers, Slavica – 50 years, 28 years younger than her former husband – said that Bernie has caused “much stress and anxiety”. Indeed, very amicable! As for the money, the share didn’t take place yet, but most likely the asset will be divided equally. “I can only hope that this time, the lawyers will tell me that I should be present,” jokes Ecclestone. Yeah, not all people can boast the loss of 1.2 billion pounds and still smile.
