In the last years many people “suffer” from circles. It is true that we move faster, we are more and more stressed and pressed for time; therefore circles appear in our life.

1. The sleep

The first and the most important advice is to sleep and to sleep and to sleep. Sleeplessness is the most common cause of circles.

2. Healthy food

1. Too much foundation

Smokey eyes has always been a must-have regarding make-up for women that want to be strong and seductive. Smokey eyes make up was the most common look of the fall-winter `08 season, Gucci being one of the designers which managed to go deep in the universe of beauty and defy any fashion rules, reinventing this make up using luscious lip glosses, mat powders and peachy blushes. Gothic look is the new trend which came out strong on the catwalks. To have a makeup studio near your mirror you need space, drawers, a set of brushes and of course..the products.
You can keep the different makeup products, separated in or little bags suited for each type of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or you can put away the special makeup products that you don`t use daily (evening makeup or the dramatic effect ones)
Makeup products can leak so dont ignore this aspect and be cautious when choosing bags or compartments for your makeup.

Brushes and more brushes

Your makeup tools should be kept separated and cleaned often to avoid eruptions and rushes that could appear on your skin. So invest in a special brush bag.

You have to buy high quality brushes from specialized shops. But be careful they have to be natural hair.

Choose professional brushes instead of the ones offered by makeup kits which do not offer a better covering and cannot be cleaned very well.

Sponges and brushes must be wash with antibacterial soap after each usage.

Natural hair brushes are special made for powder products and because artificial brushes do not assimilate the liquids when using liquid or creamy products use artificial brushes.

-for blush: do not use the brush given by the kit because is too small and you will get stripes on your face, so choose a bigger brush, which could cover your cheeks

-for defining your eyes: choose between a delicate brush or a hard tip brush

-for powder: choose a very big brush to get perfect finish of your makeup

-for eyebrows: use a double tool for brushing the eyebrows and for arranging them

-for applying eye shadow you need at least two brushes: a wide brush used for enlightening the eyes and a narrow one for your eyelid

Hygiene and health:
Do not borrow makeup products because you can get different diseases or irritations.

Do not keep makeup products too long because bacteria can develop, causing irritations. Examples of makeup products expiring date:

-six months for: mascara, liquid eye base, eyeliner, creamy eyeshadow, any other creamy and liquid product, powders and blushes.

-as long as it is needed: pressed powder, powder blush, pressed eye shadow.

Do not forget to sharpen your eye pencils and keep their hygiene with alcohol.

And for a perfect keeping of hygiene it is recommended first to shake off the makeup of the hair brushes and then cleaning them with makeup remover, shampoo or antibacterial soap and then washing them with warm water. Cleaning them must happen at least twice a week.

Begin lining the eye at the inner corner extending a touch beyond the outer edge.

Makeup of 30’s – This decade represents the period of mysterious actresses, looking from underneath their batting eyelashes of mysterious beauty such of Greta Garbo.

Although the world was exhausted, frightened and the fascist period still made its presence felt along with the Great American Crisis of the last decade, the world of cinema flourished, and so did the movie stars. Their big expressiveness was given by their make up,which played an important part in the actresses` career. Big emphasis was laid on the eyes in that period, and make up simply intensified the mysterious air that surrounded the woman.

A characteristic of the period was the “heavy eyelid”, mysterious but luscious in the same time. The entire eye area is turned down, and the eye brows play a very important part. Brows have different hapes, arched, curved or flat. There is a single thing that never changes regarding eyebrows-the length bigger than the classic standard, respectively the outside corner of the eye. A strange but common thing that period was the complete shaving of the eyebrows and then drawing them with an eyeliner.

In modern make up, this technique is no longer used. A special eyebrow pencil is enough to give them contour, and, in the same time, strength. You can highlight them in order to create a lengthening effect. The eyes are simply fascinating, and this mirage is given by the eye shades and the tones used, usually smokey, creating the effect of so called “smokey eyes”.
