Concealer is a makeup artist’s best friend. Used to cover any imperfection on the skin, concealer is very versatile and is often under-estimated and under-used!

Concealer is used just as it’s name indicates- to conceal. Makeup concealer helps you hide a multitude of skin sins including dark circles, breakouts, blemishes, red spots, age spots and those other annoying flaws, the things you’d rather not advertise. Hey, let’s face it, nobody’s perfect. Covers undereye shadows and hormonal breakouts equally well. I have used it for about seven years and the one problem I have with it is that it tends to have a short lifespan.

If your skin is greasy or normal a stick corrector is excellent. Do not employ concealers for pimples. That’s because some concealers can make circles and the skin imperfections become more clear. In this situation you can help yourself with a cosmetic sponge or brush applicator to cover all that spots of your skin face with problems. Concealers will help you look at yourself into the mirror without becoming annoyed with your skin problems and help you feel relaxed when you go somewhere. In some cases you must be carefully when applying concealer in the lip area, because it can interfere with lip color.
Tips For Right Concealer Application
Concealer is one of the best option to cover yours facial imperfections and the camouflage. Do not apply liquid concealer for daily basis because it is great to consider solid concealer for hiding zones such as marks, bruises and pimples on the face skin.
Covering dark circles under the eyes can be a challenge. However, before applying your foundation you should use a concealer pencil under the eyes.
Eye make up concealer should be applied to the inside of the nose bridge and the outer corners of the eye. You will need to ensure that the concealer does not get caught in the fine lines around the eye as this can make the overall appearance of your eye make up look very unnatural. Eye concealer makeup can be skillfully applied to camouflage dark circles and baggy eyes.
Blending is the key to getting the look you want with concealer. You don’t want it to be noticeable. Blend with lip brush. Blend by swooshing your finger gently over the line of dots you’ve created, a few times until the makeup doesn’t show. Don’t blend it right up against your inner eye, or you’ll just emphasize the areas you’re trying to hide.
Cream foundation and power foundation can also be used like a concealer. Pimples and under-eye circles are the largest common concealer targets, but there are a host of other complexion spoilers which need to be cover: small scars, broken blood vessels, redness around the nose, the inner corner of your eyes. Do not use concealer which is lighter than foundation or do not match with foundation as it can give the result of over emphasizing spots instead of covering them up. For times when undereye circles are particularly dark, it can be necessary to lightly apply an additional quantity of concealer after the foundation and makeup.
