Leighton Meester, at only 23 years old, may be considered one of the well dressed actresses from Hollywood. Always a sophisticated, sexy and elegant apparition, she does not belies about her style, both on filming, where she successfully plays the role of Blair Waldorf in “Gossip Girl”, or every time she appears on the red carpet, at social events or daily life.

In the serial, Blair Waldorf is a spoiled child, accustomed to be always the queen of the ball; so, the clothes are in ton with her habits: an elegant style, vintage inspiration. Blair always wears pleated skirts, sarafan, white stockings and lake shoes, overcoats and cardigans, dresses with floral pattern, boho (bohemian) shirts and the famous bandeaus, one of the defining brands of the personage.

When we talk about the fashion outside the spotlights, Leighton confesses that she has a chameleon style, which suffers daily changes. “I have eclectic likings, I like a little from everything, but especially whatever is comfortable would be a good choice for me”. Regarding favorite designers, the actress wears Ferragamo for shoes and handbags, Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore, Diane von Furstenberg and Julie Haas.

In daily life, Leighton forgets about “preppy” outfits worn by Blair and wear comfortable clothes, especially stretch jeans, bootees with thick heels, cardigans, blazers, oversized scarves and colored sunglasses.

When we talk about red carpet appearances, Leighton always makes the best choices, by clothes that fit her, which excide her features, being always sexy and sophisticated. She prefers high- shouldered dresses, lace, glossy materials, gauze and satin. Although her natural hair is blonde, because of her role she is under the necessity of dyeing it brown.

Concerning accessories, she wears always high heels, XXL purses and Marc Jacobs bootees. Her favorite piece of clothing is a trench by Azzeldaine Alaia, bought from Paris. Leighton recognizes that she spends most of the money on shoes, about which she believes that can change an outfit. “Even a pair of jeans and a shabby T- shirt may look fantastic if they are worn with a pair of shoes or well elected boots.” About purses, she adores the model PS1 by Proenza Schouler and absolutely any model by Nina Ricci.
