The pallet of colors for the summer of 2010 is a chic and radiant one. It expresses solitude and heat, gives secure flashes for an optimist style.

The Base: white and black

It is a well known fact that the base of every season is white and black. This thing matters for the year 2010’s fashion. We say “Yes” to white and black clothes this year too. The combination between these colors is always victorious!

Neutral colors: cream, beige, pearl shades, sand beige

The splendid palette made up of these colors approaches very much of the white’s purity. These are chic shades which jointed together, offer a refined look. Think about at a combination of beige, lime, egg white, cream, pearled grey, pale red. These are non-colors based on white, to which were added different shades. With these combination you won’t fail ever!

Green came back!

Green’s returning into the new collections is the great surprise. What was violet for the past seasons will be green for 2010. We talk about green hues which are very sophisticated. The most encountered shade is that called “dry or sear plant”. Verdancy or kaki is also beautiful. Even the metal green will be used.

Ground shadings

There will always be on top the botanic colors (like green), brown tones. They are like a gradual scale of colors. Green shades gradually transform into ground shadings, olive and chocolate. The combination of these colors are magnificent.

Purple, mauve and grey tones

Add to your set- up sophisticated shades like purple, mauve or grey and, definitely, you’ll attract glances. Those are powerful, daring elegant and on top colors this year.

The new red

Red remains firm on the catwalk, even if it is a little bit changed. Former times pure red, comes back this year in tones similar to raspberries and tomatoes.

Yellow and orange

The new shadings about I said, modified the intensity of these two colors too. These colors will become this year more pale and less intense, regard to the last seasons.

Turquoise and indigo

The gainer color of this year maybe is turquoise, exotic, refreshing and beaming. We will see it in all possible combinations. Even the indigo color remains on top. The combination between turquoise and indigo is divine.

Cold colors

Cold colors are delicate. Think about pale yellow, pale red, violet or intense pistachio. They are youthful and fun.

Romantic prints

During this season we’ll see, definitely, prints. I like romantic prints, with small drawings, combined floral themes. They will be an ideal choice after a cold winter for a rebel and intense style, like the rock and roll world.
